The package contents are identical to a new BOT-3000E. The instrument is inspected, reconditioned and calibrated before shipping, so it arrives ready to test.
The BOT-3000E measures the dynamic and static coefficient of friction of walkway surfaces, in the lab and in the field. It is the only device qualified for use with ANSI A326.3, released in 2021, and it meets ASTM F2508 for the validation and certification of walkway tribometers, verified by an independent laboratory.
The only other item needed for an ANSI A326.3 audit is a validation surface.
